To test if your webcam is working properly on web browsers go to this link http://www.testmycam.com/. I you can see yourself on this page, then it will work with Edoboard.
Once you arrival on the board the webcam/mic are not on by default.
You have to click on 'Activate webcam/mic'.
Note: even if you do nothave a webcam and you just need the audio you need to activate it.
As a result you will see yourself on the top right corner of the webcam area. That means you are publishing your video and the participant (if any) can see you.
As soon as the participant activates his webcam you should be able to see him and communicate. If you want to stop his incoming audio or video enable/disable each channel separately with the two icons located over 'distant'.
Note: If you can hear some echo while talking to the participant try to use an audio/mic headset.
